November 2017 update

Published on 21 Nov, 2017

With the help of some key people I spent between 2006 and 2016 recording case studies and working iteratively to develop the platform. However, after four rounds of scaling negotiations, conducted in the face of an austerity drive, my wife persuaded me to get a job.

While I still get tremendous satisfaction from knowing this resource continues to be used in classrooms across the UK, I’m now fully absorbed in my staff role as Head of Knowledge Management at the AbilityNet charity where I’ve worked since November 2016. In truth, I took the advice of many of the Talking Jobs interviewees; if you don’t try you’ll never know, and if you don’t succeed, change tack and try again.
