November 2017 update

Published on 21 Nov, 2017

With the help of some key people I spent between 2006 and 2016 recording case studies and working iteratively to develop the platform. However, after four rounds of scaling negotiations, conducted in the face of an unnecessary austerity drive, my wife persuaded me to get a job.

While I still get a tremendous kick from knowing this resource continues to get daily use in classrooms across the UK, I’m now pretty thoroughly absorbed in meeting the challenges of my role as Head of Knowledge Management at the AbilityNet charity where I’ve worked since November 2016. In many ways I took the advice of the Talking Jobs interviewees; if you don’t try you’ll never know, and if you don’t succeed, change tack and try again.
