What is a site licence?
In this instance the word 'site' refers the physical location on which this software may be licensed for use. If your geographic 'site' is split over two or more locations, please contact the Periscope Projects Ltd, the company behind Talking Jobs 01273 473 276 to discuss your requirements.
Do schools and organisations have to pay online?
No. An online order option is given (using PayPal) but most choose to pay by pro-forma invoice and are given 28 days to do so.
Is access to the content immediate?
Yes. A licence is generated at the same time the order is placed. An email is sent to the Primary Contact with an embedded activation link. Once clicked on, the login, licence and invoice are generated and also sent by email.
Can a site licence held by one school or organisation be shared with client/subsidiary organisations?
No school or organisation with a site licence may pass on their login details to other organisations or schools hence cascading one licence across multiple schools or organisations and physical locations. Doing so would put a school or organisation in breach of their licence.
How does the order process work?
Once you have completed the online order form and accepted the terms and conditions of use for this website, login details are sent immediately to the individual placing the order (the Primary Contact). In turn this person may then distribute the login details within their school or organisation and subject to the terms laid out in the terms and conditions of use for this website.
Will the interviews and teaching content change through time?
Talking Jobs provides a valuable snapshot of working life in the UK tailored to for careers teachers and IAG delivers; its function is to help young people start making informed decisions about their futures, but not as a comprehensive inventory of every possible job. However, the learnign materials are regularly added to, and the video content will grow in time.
Does TALKING JOBS have any sponsors?
A growing number of individuals, companies and institutions support this project, offering expertise, advice and guidance, or support through nominating appropriate interviewees or by letting an interview take place on their premises - but the site itself has been independently funded by the producer.

"Talking Jobs is an amazing resource, quite unlike any other work related resource I have come across... It goes beyond the simple job description and qualifications needed and gives students the sort information they could get if they actually met the individuals and knew all the right questions to ask them..."
